Finomask: EP 5 - Invention Gone Wrong

Glad to announce... Got 3 more expansion pack installed! Means more items, more stuff to tell! First start off with buying a few stuff for new skills.

Ryan was finally able to get the workbench for his inventing and sculpting skill working.

Don't mind the middle one. That is the fortune cookie maker gotten from China.

Another new item is... The fireman's pole! It was really hilarious that the Simbot tried to climb this thing and she failed more than 15 times! I lost count at 15. The sims, as lazy as always.. climb up the stairs and slide down the pole!

Rafael is always eager to try out new skills. He always end up stopping half way in them. Rafael was the first Sim to work on the Sculpting Skill. While that, Ryan work on the invention skill. After mastering the skill, they would probably switch.

Rafael has grown into trying to be fashionable to win Jade's heart. He decided to try a makeover of himself.

Rafael decided to get a new look. Probably the short hair makes him look too young to be a teenager. Jade's boyfriend has long hair. He is in a competition. Her boyfriend is also genius, computer-whiz and athletic. Their similar trait is being put to test for the competition to win that girl's heart. Although her boyfriend, Eddie, won her, it wouldn't be long...

So here is the BEFORE look.

Here is the AFTER look. He look much more matured with long hair.

Rafael: Oh yeah~ This would probably work out!

Ryan was too busy with his new skill to comment on Rafael's attire. Rafael know Ryan wants him to always look neat and not like a rascal. Here is Ryan, trying to make a toy for a start.

A bit of here and that.. and suddenly... the invention went wrong! Ryan was on fire.

Ryan ran hysterically. He screamed at the top of his lungs but everyone else was sleeping.

Ryan: Oh NOOOOO!!!!! *BATHROOM BATHROOM!! WATER!!!*

Ryan get into the shower tub and ran the water quickly...

The fire was out. But the mood isn't right for invention.

Ryan went to bed to get his mood back. Probably the next day to continue working on the invention.

The next day, Ryan decided to drop by the Rackets' household to see Karie Jones-Brown. His daughter, Rafael's half-sister. Apparently the DNA shows and the Rackets knew about the affair. When Ryan came to the house, they insulted Ryan and even picked a fight with him. Despite all that nonsense, Ryan still went ahead to see his daughter. His first biological child. He is really happy being able to spend time with Karie. The Rackets let him spend time alone with his daughter.

Ryan taught Karie how to talk a little bit. He is really patient with Karie. It brings back lots of memories of him and... ugh~

Ryan picked up Karie. He snuggled her, tickled her...

I will try to keep a good eye on you, girl.

I love you, Karie.

I will try my best to make sure you will grow up well...

You will look much more beautiful than your mom.

I would even take you home with me if they let me.

But they don't...

I am sorry, baby.

I will still watch over you no matter how great the distance will be.

Ryan decided to do a little bit more. He taught Karie how to walk.

Karie tried her best to impress her father.

It gets tiring then and so she ended up sitting down. Ryan then knows he have to get going. Let his baby girl rest.

Before he left the Rackets' household, he caught Jenni with Shark. She was flirting and mushing with Shark. She have the right to do that with her boyfriend... BUT HEY! They have a daughter up stairs and she didn't even teach Karie anything while Ryan wasn't around. She was being a bitch. Ryan felt disappointed.

Ryan was going to continue with the invention working and so he head off to the junkyard to collect some scraps. After digging the piles... He still couldn't get enough. Thus he decided to detonate the pile to get more.

He threw the bomb and.....

BLAST JUNKS!!!

Ryan collect all the scraps scattered and found some iron metals that could give some value.

After working on a few more inventions, Ryan finally able to invent something amazing at the rarest possible moment. Ryan invented the Magical Gnome. (picture below)

He was then motivated to work on more inventions. Cow toys, dog toys... etc.. and suddenly.....
BOOOOOOM!!!
Being extremely pissed, he suddenly remembered a friend in China. To wear the anger off, he dialed up for the China friend.

Ryan: Ah yeh Xun Li! It has been quite some time since we talk.

Xun Li: Yes Mr Finomask. They have been organising a few matches here. Wondering when are you going to drop by again?

Ryan: HOHOHO! What about you coming over here and check out Twinbrook? It's not all trees here.

Xun Li: I would come over if you have your daughter in the house. I would like to see how you educate the toddlers over there.

Ryan: Sure! If they didn't age her up, I might be able to get her and you here. And about the match. I went there twice Xun Li. I called up the guy... Chan-whoever his name is.. He said okay for the match and didn't turn up!

Xun Li: You are probably being feared.

*conversation goes on and on...*

Amazed by the news update in China. He is now more eager to try make an invention to show in China.

Ryan worked until night to get the invention right...

He probably worked too hard on it until he was caught on fire again!

AGAIN THE SCREAMING AND THE RUNNING! This time worst, burned skin!!!

"This suck!"

Ryan went to take a tranquil bath before trying one last time.

Finally, SUCCESS! He created another big invention! A MINER!

Rafael stopped training on his Martial Art Skill and tried on the miner. Sandra was sleeping and was disturbed by the miner noise. She came up to Rafael and told him to turn it off. Rafael, disliking Sandra... Ignored her...
